After a successful change of LED numberplate lights, decided to change the puddle lights under the door
Drivers side door was fine but passenger side door had much less slack on the cable. What this means is it jutted out of my hand as I unclipped the old holder ... bye bye cable.
It's gone somewhere inside the door but with such a tight opening, I just can't get to it and since my drive, I can't feel it either.

Any advice would be much appreciated in trying to get it back out.

If it means taking the door card off...do let me know but also how the heck I do this. I only found one screw at the bottom of the door card

    Thanks!

Panic over - after a weekend of trying to shove my finger in that hole (perfectly clean thread!), I found a wire hanger which freed the cable. Looks like it had dropped under a bit of plastic which in-turn held it down.
Cable was still very short but managed just enough to plug it into the new holder
    Let there be light!

Now onto the rear doors - amazing how bright the ground is ... even in daytime light

I think I've seen them described as that even somewhere in brochure or something... but they do not even reach floor

They do look nice when you do the coming home/leaving home light thing, creating that shine on the door skin

Could be they like that for me as mine are folded will have to check unfolded ... what they like on yours Chris?

Wish they'd added the LED's also to the door handles like the BMW's (ahhh I just committed blasphemy )
