Can anyone recommend a good boot organiser or, better still, is there a specific tray/shelf you can get to separate the boot into 2 sections so my work stuff is always hidden below?

Used to have this kinda easily liftable tray on our last car and it was very handy.

At the moment, i've got the odd bits of work stuff and my tennis racket etc just rattling around in there. I can see theres a plethora of clips etc in there ready to be used with stuff.

VW used to do a Golf / Rabbit Storage Tray 1K0 061 178 A (sorry no picture available anymore) it sits under the rear parcel shelf but they haven't been available for a long time, I wouldn't have minded one. They do them for the Seat Leon as well a friend at work bought one of eBay £19. I tried it in mine but its 50mm narrower and it wasn't worth making support barckets.

Seek and ye shall find - no hope in finding the tray itself though as they're discontinued

VWs luggage tray offering is basically three fold..

a semi rigid tray to sit over the boot carpet - handy for wet/muddy boots, but worse than the carpet itself stopping things sliding around
a more solid deeper version with slot in it - pain to take in an out to access spare wheel area, and takes up a fair bit of boot space if you want to carry lots of luggage such as suitcases for holidays etc
a floor mounted storage tray liner - might be what you want but expensive and again if its depeer than you need robs boot space

all can be found on VW website - here is the last of the three.. http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/a...and-protection

Search ebay and you'll find generic pvc/rubber type liners, and a storage 'bag/box' that goes against the rear seat... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGEN...item33759ad2cd

If you don't already have them you could retro fit the storaage drawers under the front seats - not exactly commodious but will hold smaller items
not exactly OEM item, but might be sufficient to hold a few odds n ends, out of sight and prevent them rolling around.
