    Hi there I have looked around but can't find the answers I am looking for.

    I am due to pick up a 2006 2.0T FSI Multi S Line. It has the RNS E in there.

    I noticed that the Sat nav is loaded from the dvd and both sd card slots are free.

    So, from what I have discovered, these slots only accept SD cards, not SDHC cards, and a maximum of 512 songs.

    So, If I have two cards, can they have 512 songs in each, or is it 512 songs combined?
    Also, a 2GB card holds approximetely 500 songs, if per card the system only allows 512 songs, then why would someone get a 4GB card? Is it to have the mp3 at high bitrate? All mine are at 128kbit anyway.

    I'm thinking I need to buy 2x 2GB SD Cards and can have about 500 songs on each and that will be fine?? Or am I wrong?

    Finally, will the track information and folders show up?

    I have two 2gb SD cards, about 480 tunes on one & 500 on the other, a mixture of 128-160 bitrate and all's good.

    What do you think of these;

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sandisk-2GB-...31&s=computers

    I think they are normal SD cards but in the description it says "Two high capacity SD cards to help you categorize, archive and store more digital content"
    Does that mean SDHC?

    I have tried two 2GB SD (not SDHC) cards, with about 20 albums on each, and had problems.

    Sometimes, the RNS-E won't even read the cards, saying they are corrupt. Other times, the whole RNS-E has crashed with a weird chinese error on the screen. It is then dead for about an hour before it comes back to life.

    Re-format cards to FAT32 and try adding 1 album. Your tags could be corrupt. The RNSE is quite fussy, there are symbols that the system will not read if they are in the tag.
