    Hi, after much searching, I can't find anything on how to change the brake lights on a Golf Mk 5. I found the American Passat guide, but this looks quite different to the Golf. Does anyone have a step by step guide, ideally with pictures. Thanks, Nick.

    Thanks and good luck! Had a Mark 4 Golf before and that was easy, I think this may need a special tool or a special kind of bodge! Halfords wouldnt fit the bulb for me as they didn't have the tools... I think the whole light cluster comes out.

    bugger. i forgot to look. I'll do it tomorrow. Reason being, i spilt deisel down it and spent the evening washing it.
