Sunroof noise level

I intend to replace my ancient BMW with a new Golf mk6. Surfing the forum has been very helpful in reading owners views and I have concluded that for my needs the best would be a 1.4 tsi 122 Match DSG, but I am undecided as to whether to add the sunroof (I am not concerned about the delivery delay that this might incur!). Many reviewers refer to how quiet this model is, but I would like owners' views as to whether the sunroof, when closed, has any adverse effect on the noise level in the cabin, particularly at motorway speeds.

I have always had sunroofs, as I have at present but have not driven one without and so can't compare. However there is more road noise/tyre noise on most of our appalling road surfaces to worry about any slight noise that might, I say might, be coming from a close sunroof.
When tilted it's not too bad and there is better interior ventilation but driving with it fully open is impossible due to unpleasant buffeting but again this can be lessened by closing it gradually until it is at a tolerable level but still not for high speeds.
On a good road surface with fine aggregate the car is extremely quiet but again there are better more expensive cars that are quieter still, I would imagine!
