He need to warm it up, then gently cruise to 80 mph and do it for 40 miles or so, if you can read Tom, see if it's overboosted, this will be carbon in the turbo and short of taking it apart he needs to run as hot as he can for a substantial time at 70+, just be careful where he does it, it really needs top be 90 mph, but good ole GB doesn't legally allow it, but if it is coked this is one way to uncoke it, a result is one good pedal hoof and if there is no smoke it's clean.

Force a regen of the dpf Tom if a steady cruise doesn't fix it and there are no other faults showing.......done one only last week and sorted the problem no probs......

Had this on mine a few days ago, tuned out to be a faulty Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450), this was replaced and a forced regen now seems to be ok

    UPDATE:

He took it to the dealer, Skoda Lincoln, they said the DPF was over 60% clogged and it would need to be replaced. They quoted him £2500 all in. Obvisouly he just took the car away as it was ridiculous, with nothing to lose he drove to mine and I follwed the steps Richie posted up for me for VCDS, sure VCDS showed the DPF was 68% clogged. I enabled forced generation and we went on a 15 - 20min drive in 3rd doing 3k rpm (47mph) on a 60mph country road. Sure enough the engine reached 800C and the DPF filter % started to drop. We managed to get the filter to 0%, out of limp mode and with no errors, driving perfect! How can Dealers do this?!?! He's just happy it's sorted, he's having it removed shortly and remapped to 230bhp, which is a nice gain! Anyway cheers guys, 1 more happy customer
