    Default Audi A3 sportback - ESP Fault – 25-07-2011,09:40 PM
    Hello everyone,

    I have an Audi A3 sportback which has been pretty much trouble free since we got it in Jan 2007. This weekend, the car developed a fault when turning the ignition. The yellow warning light does not go out and the message "ESP Fault ! see owners manual" appears in the central information area.

    The owners manual didn't shed much light other than the ESP is now disabled. The ESP switch does not work and I have checked simple things like brake lights, but they are okay.

    Is this a back to the dealer job? If so, can anyone recommend the best way to get this diagnosed?

    Get the fault codes read. If it comes up with a fault with the pressure sensor (G201), I wouldn't be surprised!

    It could also be abs or steering angles sensors which are playing up as both of these will disable the esp
    NOT ONE OF YOU HAS GOT AN OUNCE OF STYLE IN YA!!


    Golf gttdi 150arl,giac software,full milltek non-res system,anni lamps now gone for A3 2.0tfsi quattro s-line giac mapped 260bhp,S3 diffuser,lcr splitter
