2007 Passat 170 BHP BMR engine code, cut out now wont start

Hi there i have just done a service on this passat, road tested the vehicle for 30 miles to try to get the DPF to regenarate, it has 30% pressure and is realy smelly when stationary. Came back to the work shop vehicle was left idling and it just cut out. Tryed to restart, vehicle wouldnt fire, ECU light came on & said workshop on the dash.
Plugged the vehicle in using autodiagnos, snap on verus & carman scanner all bring up the same codes.
05399 Unknown componant interruption/short to ground briefly occuring DTC (05399 103)
You delete this codes as soon as the ignition is switched it comes staright back.

We found some badley corroded wires in the fuse box, the vertical fuses that are the main power suply wires, we cleaned all of them and replaced one bad terminal.
I then replaced the injector wiring loom i have done many of these the last few years so thought i would try this first.
I checked all the glow plugs & injectors resistances, all glow plugs working all injectors resistance the same. does anyone have any idears

A failed injector, I have done two this week. Disconnect each injector one at a time until it starts and that will identify the failed injector for you. When running the engine with the cam cover off, a jet of oil will spray at the head to about ten feet high so put the cover back on each time, not bolted on, just put back on.
