XCarLink problems with RCD 200 radio!

Hey,

I have recently installed an XCarLink into my VW Polo 2004 which has an RCD200 radio. However I am having a few problems with it. I've connected it up with my CD changer and attached the grounding cable to the back of the radio enclosure. However when I connect an iPod it only charges it, the radio detects the CD changer but when I press the CD buttons to get the radio to play the iPod it just say's No CD unless I have a disc in my CD changer corresponding to the number I pressed. It must be connected as the CD changer is working and iPod charges. The iPod also loses the volume control so the iPod itself is detecting that it is connected to a speaker system.

Any help in how I can fix this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Press CD twice and see if that sorts it out. You need to tell it whether you want the CD changer or the Xcarlink as the source. You cycle between these by pressing the button.
