    I think the part number is 1K8 419 091K not 5K0 998 537.
    Wiring set should be 1K0 971 584C £36.00.
    Air bag could be:
    1K0 880 201 CB 1QB.....BLACK or 5K0 880 201 G 81U....TITANIUM BLACK. £520 each.

    This is my best guess.

my model is 2007 170 sport still on the lookout for scirocco gear knob.

fitting the steering wheel is easy part number is 5K0 998 537 airbag is 5K0 880 201 you will also need a airbag harness number 5K0 971 584 A.

you will also need a new steering module i bought the 3C0-953-549-AJ version from ebay. i think the module for the newer steering wheel buttons the software has to be (SW 0020) or above and Highline. but dont quote me on that. mine is SW 0030 and works fine.

takes about an hour all in then code the module with VCDS and away you go.

    3C0-953-549-A ; Midline (SW 0010) sw = software revision
    3C0-953-549-B ; Highline (SW 0010)
    3C0-953-549-E ; Highline (SW 0015)
    3C0-953-549-H ; Midline (SW 0015)
    3C0-953-549-J ; Midline (SW 0010)
    3C0-953-549-K ; Highline (SW 0015)
    3C0-953-549-L ; Midline (SW 0010)
    3C0-953-549-M ; Highline (SW 0015)
    3C0-953-549-AB ; ??? (SW 0020)
    3C0-953-549-AC ; Highline (SW 0020)
    3C0-953-549-AD ; Midline (SW 0020)
    3C0-953-549-AE ; Highline (SW 0020)
    3C0-953-549-AF ; Highline (SW 0020)
    3C0-953-549-AJ ; Highline (SW 0030)

Hi All Just bought a DSG Golf GTi Mk6 wheel and wondered if you can place the VCDS codes and modules you coded. My car is an 07 DSG and I also want the wheel paddles to work if possible. I'm now looking out for the steering module for a reasonable price.
