I've just had two new tyres fitted on the front wheels of my '06-plate A4 S-Line and wonder what the correct torque settings are for the wheel nuts. Can't seem to find that info anywhere!

Any ideas? Tyres are 235x40x18 Goodyear F1 Eagle XL on standard-from-factory S-Line 5-spoke alloys.

    Thanks.

Thanks, kenney. Now trying to see which one applies to my A4. A fair bet to say its 120Nm, I reckon.

    That's 89 lb/ft in pre-decimal coinage.

That's even worse to figure out than 120Nm

If your asking for torque values on wheel nuts then you must have a torque wrench..

Any torque wrench i've ever seen has Nm and lb/ft values displayed.

What ever happened to a good sqeeze of a wheel brace????
