Need some new tyres for my A4 Quattro Cabrio.. Original Contis are silly money so looking at the cheaper options.. Want to try keep it to around £100 per corner..

Seems the best options are Nexen N6000 or Falken ZE-912.. I have no expeience with either brand so looking for opinions of which is better??

Or is there another brand I have missed?

    Thanks..

Falkens all the way. I would look for the sport ones, best budget tyres you can buy for under 100 quid a corner...

I have Falkens on my XJ and they are superb
Quiet and grip well in all conditions

I'm so impressed I am considering sticking a set on the A8

i would agree, nexen are a budget make and built to a price. i would also consider dunlop if you can get them/afford them. they are normall well priced and are a great tyre. i have had experience of BFgoodrich, and they were great, i would consider these too if you can get them.

For a rew quid extra, go for Vredestein Sessantas. They have a quirky tread pattern but the do the job!

I've got a set on the A4 quarttro and I've jus bought a set for the Z4. First choice tyre for me.

Whatever tyre you choose, do it sooner rather than later - there has been price increases since your original post! So while you have been looking about and trying to save a few quid, the prices have gone up - I know 'cos it happened to me! It would also be a good idea to have a look at the tyre test web sites - www.tyretest.com one site you could use.

I think you'll struggle to get decent rubber at under a £100 now!

Would you use brake pads "Made in China"
