I lock my car with the remote which sets the alarm and locks all the doors. Great, but when I have the dogs in the back, and lock the car with the remote, the dogs keep triggering the alarm.

Is there any way I have my dogs in the car with the doors locked without the alarm keep going off??

    Thanks muchly

Hi there, as far as I know, you can turn off your movement sensors in the car before setting your alarm. I could be wrong here but I think you will find a very small button with wavey lines on it on the bottom of drivers side "A PILLAR" trim. Before getting out, press that button and then lock your car as normal. The movement sensors will be off so Rover and Fido are free to eat your seat belts without the alarm triggering

On 2004 Alhambra you deactivate internal sensors by locking with the key, turn key to lock position, c/l will activate and door led flashes. Turn key to lock position a second time immediately. Internal sensors de-activate and LED stops flashing to confirm. Don't hold key in lock position for more than a fraction of a second though or any windows left open for ventilation will auto-close

Thanks for this. I'll have a try with the door key, and see what happens

    Cheers

easy -- double make sure your have the key then reach through via drivers side rear door and push internal door handle in on drivers door. Then just close the osr door and car is locked , no alarm. Unlock as normal ( in my case always with key as remote has never worked)

This seems to work for me.......unless the dogs are just lying still

Double press on the remote works for me. You press it twice within a second of each other. The light on the door that flashes, stops flashing indicating that the interior sensor is switched off.
