    Hello everyone
I know the factory fitted 18" wheels have 43mm offset and I am planning to fit 18" with 35mm offset. Does anybony know will it be a problem and do I need some spacers as well?
    Thank you

If you are getting 18 inch wheels with the same width as the ones you have already (ie.8J) you will just be moving the outer rim 8 millimeters futher out from the axle. That is "WELL" within reason.

There is a wheel offset configurator "Linky" somewhere on the Forum.

Thank you Bratty, just spent 15-20 minutes in the web and found a very good calculator.

Good Info Zafi. I think the thread topic is asking "What happens if I drift away from Manufacturers recomended "Suggested Offsets"? And that takes a bit of digging!

I can say that from experience 9JX19;ET 35 255/35 R19 from an A5 will fit on an A4 B8, But the front axle combo is extremely close to the sensible limit!! And I would say that in hindsight I would not go more than 8.5JX19;ET 35 with the same tyre on the front axle (on the back I had NO! probs with the 9J but then again I am not exactly a Caravan Towing Type.
