Anyone live in the Bolton who would care to take some time out to show me how to operate the system. Purchased a lead and disc off e-bay managed to install the disc onto my laptop however I am not really sure of to operate the scans etc.

Some help would be most grateful

Car Audi a4 avant quattro (B6)

    Many Thanks

If it’s the fully registered version, on the main page just go into "autoscan", pick your model from the drop down list and press start. This will scan the complete car.

Alternatively, you can go into "select control module", pick the module you want. EG: "engine" and press "fault codes"
This will give you the errors in that specific module

The unregistered version will still let you scan for fault codes, you'll need the ignition on to scan all controllers...

Copy version could well stop working at some time. That has happened to me and I had to buy 3 different wires from ebay, cheap ones I must admit. Worked for some time, then stopped working altogether. the pc didn't recognize them. So I went and bought an original one and taken any fuzz off my head!
