I have an A4 B7 with reflector style headlights.............

I want to upgrade to the new LED style headlights but all the ones I see seem to be projector type with the LED strips built into the headlight and they seem to be plug and play.

If I got one of these kits would how would they work?
is it as simple as plug and play a new projector style headlight onto an existing reflector style setup one??

andwered your own question there matey. Plug and play.

You will be purchasing a complete pair of headlight clusters. You current h7 bulbs will still fit and work in the focused lenses. Loads on ebay circa 250 to 300 quid

Those DRL/LED in the pic you have up is exactly what im looking for and look good.

Thanks for the H7 Bulb units heads up.

I just thought reflector to projector would require new bulbs etc etc.

I have seen RHD ones on fleabay too but dont like the design of some and the LED light colour of others.

I just rang up one of the e-bay sellers as I saw some decent styled DRL projector headlights.

I told him I had the reflector lamps and upgraded to HIDS, but he told me that HID bulbs eventually just melt the projector headlights so they wouldnt sell them to me for that reason??

    Can that be right............................................. .................?

I mean I respect his honesty if thats the case usually sellers just wanna flog the item end of................!

I have an A4 B7 cabriolet, do these have the same headlights as the saloon A4's?

The reason for this question is that I am thinking of getting the LED lights too, but the eBay seller told me that the cabriolets have different lights!

I like the look of the leds but I have xenons with autolevelling.

If I was to purchase these led style headlamps is it simply a case of removing the existing units and screwing the new ones into place?
Are they fully compatible with xenons or is that not an issue?

Found this place selling them for the same place as ebay....people may feel more comfortable buying from a shop than ebay.
