View Full Version : Question Will Ford alloys fit a Passat?
Quick question...
Is it possible to fit Ford alloys (PCD 5x108 BORE 63.4) to a Passat (I think the standard specs are PCD 5x112 BORE 57.1)?
I'm having a bad day, and need someone to just say Yes or No...!!!
Cheers!

No, they wont fit unless you have adaptors built. The vag choice of wheels is soo broad, why on earth you need fords alloys ?

LOL...although I see your point, I have a set of nice Ford alloys from my written-off Mondeo, with nearly new tyres, that I was thinking I might put on my Passat...
I can't be doing with the TINY 15" alloys that came as standard on the Highline...
Might as well sell both sets of alloys, and buy myself a set of VAG alloys :)

a train of thought I can actually understand.
Ford alloys on a VAG car ought to be illegal :approve:
OK, next question then...
Current wheels are 205/60/15 - what size do you guys recommend I upgrade to?
Will I be able to shoehorn a set of 18" alloys in without altering the suspension? I've been looking at 17" and 18", and there ain't much difference in price.
I'm open to suggestions!
Anyone got any suggestions/recommendations?
Would Transporter wheels fit? (7.5Jx17", 5x112, ET42, 225/45/17)
Cheers!

the bigger you go the lower the profile tyre you will need meaning harder drive thus more road noise and more feeling of bumps and potholes.
Cheers for that...makes sense!
Anyone know whether the transporter alloys would fit?
Also...does anyone know the PCD of a 52 plate Octavia? Is it the same as the Passat?
