Lowering golf tdi on RS4 wheels

Hi new to the forum have had a past experience with novas! and have finally got something a bit more sensible. i bought a golf tdi 150 a few months back and its a lovely car.

i was wondering if i lowered my car 60mm just on springs would my wheels rub. i see with some wheels the arch linings have to be removed. the wheels are the audi rs4 wheels.

is it a good idea to just go for the springs as in the past i have always gone for springsa and shocks but figured as the springs are already uprated they should be sufficient.

any advise or experience will be much appreciated also any photos would be great.
