4F (C6) S Line Avant Body (bumper) Question

Guys,
I have just bought an A6 S Line 2.0 TDI 2010 Avant for silly cheap money..
It's a CAT D.... because someone stole some parts from it. - UPDATE (actually the car arrived on saturday... its a NSF accident damaged car - no structure... just expensive trimmings)
So...
I need to fit
Intercooler
Front Bumper & Reinforcement Bar
Grille
Lights
Fogs

Rear Bumper

So...
This is the 2010 model...
Am I limited to the bumpers I can fit, or can I "Facelift" this without modifying bonnet . wings etc.

The 2010 model is a "facelift", you cannot fit parts from the later C7 model.

The A6 C6 Facelift only ran for 2 years so used FL parts like S-line FL bumpers are very rare, I guess that is why the parts were stolen, they make around £400 for the bumper alone. If the car had Xenon lights with the LED strip then they go for around £300-£400 each on ebay (You can buy valeo units from EPC for £400). Grills are around £100, fogs again from ECP, Reinforcement Bar would be from Audi or TPS. Intercooler would be cheap enough from ebay.

If you want to do the job on the cheap then you could got for pre-flacelift parts, they don't make much money, but the lights may require wiring change if that car had xenons.

The Facelift Avant S-Line bumper are available on Ebay the Saloon models are rare.

Expect to repair the bumper and then get it painted. A new bumper cover is around £650 + Vat then you have to paint it. The diffuser is £70 new no need to paint it but then you need to buy the Mesh trim for it, i dont know how they are.

The fog lights are cheap on Ebay new but the grills may be hard to get if they are the LeMans type agin new is pricey for the bits.

Front bumpers are the same Saloon & Avant, and I can only find one on ebay UK at the moment which is damaged, and still asking £300.

I've been looking for a sensible price Avant FL rear bumper and cannot find one, but there are a few saloon one listed.

I've found another website called first choice bumpers that seem to have what I need... I think...
The car gets delivered next week, so I can thoroughly inspect it and see what it needs.
I'm certain that other than bumpers diffusers grilles and intercooler... I need 1x double 7 spoke allow too... I think if this needs a full set of tyres; I may have bought a lemon :-(

It's the facelift parts that will make the job expensive, however you may be lucky and the car did not have Xenon's if so then you could save around £500 on the lights alone. Also if you not bother the the s-line bumper the SE one will fit and these go for around £80. The other issue would be the cars wiring harness, most of the moronic, scum thieves just cut through the car wiring harness, leaving a mess behind that will take a while to fix. Also do you know how they got into the car as it would require access to the bonnet & boot to remove the bumpers so they could have damaged these area to gain access.

Looking at photos and taking the advice from the guy who viewed it... the wiring is intact and all connectors are in place at the front of the car - so I'm guessing minimal wiring needs to be carried out.
I will get in touch with Audi with the Reg No. and get an idea of the headlights (xenon or not)
Apparently... there is NO door lock or other bodywork damage except a dent on the NSF wing......

Ok... I'm guessing this has been asked.... but... is there anyone who works for TPS or the likes, who can quote me the prices and part numbers if I give the reg. no??? (and tell me if it has Xenons as standard?

oh..... it gets slightly worse.
It's a Le Mans edition - I'm assuming the bumpers are even rarer than std S-Line... or does anyone know if they are the same.
the Car is an Avant - WAUZZZ4F6BN0140** and the model year is apparently 2011 - built 16-7-2010

The fog light grills and the front diffuser are different, a standard S line bumper has a built diffuser such as the SE bumper the LeMans is a seperate item which is grey in colour.

I have replaced my Front and rear bumpers to LeMans bumper and it is pricey even with second hand bits.

Add in the headlight washers and pipe work and clips then the covers as mos second hand bumpers have these missing, if the car has front PDC sensors then add that in also.

The foglight grills are rare, i had to buy all new ones to finish my project.

anyone know if I can retrofit front parking sensors? - I've found a full S-Line breaker, but it has front sensors..
I imagine it will need the controller unit etc.

You need to check what is with the car in its present condition as wiring etc maybe be there already or not.

The S line front bumper is different to the S Line LeMans bumper.

My facelift sline front bumper did not have a built in diffuser / spoiler, it was separate part and like yours gray in colour

These are the only bumper option on the FL A6 there is no (Le Mans) version.

In etka there is only one diffuser / spoiler part number F0807110C 1RR (Platinum gray) and fits the following bumpers

The "options" print out from TPS shows a 2K7 "reinforced" bumper....
I guess that means it's a straight forward S-Line bumper???

Yes that is just the s-line bumper, for the UK the bumper options appear to be RS6, S6, s-line or SE.

The Facelift Xenon's had the LED drl's fitted internal to the headlight so the wring is different.

The Car Arrived this morning....
all parts were in the boot. but there IS some damage.
Needs a front bumper and NSF Foglight and surround.
Needs rear bumper paining (Underneath) and a new diffuser fitting.
Needs a NSF Headlight as the mountings have broken from the unit.
required Both Rads, the NS Intercooler and intercooler link tube.
also requires radiator mounting (front) panel.
so... my question is....
will this fit???

You don't need a light, you can buy headlight repair mounting kits from Audi, cheaper than a headlight.

Not sure if the front panel is the same but, but the crash bar is different on the FL.

@B5NUT Cheers Pal.. I might take a Risk and buy the rad pack.. although... I will look on etka again and see if I can find the panel... the Rads look the same for the 2.0TDi range. And possibly the air con condenser. ...
Oh.. and thanks for the advice on the headlight repair kit... that will save a small fortune.

Facelift Bumpers.... what's the difference between the Std A6 C6 Facelift and the SLine bumper? can you make a standard bumper fit but trimming? or is there too much to "glue" on??

The on things that you can save off that is the fog light and the fog light trim, the tow hook cover and the washer jets and covers remove the pipe work and clips from behind that hold on the washer hose.

The standard S line bumper has a triple lined grill, your one is a Le Mans variant.

actually.... I can't even save the washer pipework.... one of the connectors is broken.
It seems... but comparing the Le Mans and Standard Bumper.... that the part UNDER the fog light - curves a little more... or am I wrong...
I'm still thinking of ordering a 2009-2011 facelift bumper - and "make it fit"..... the financial difference is astounding!!!!

I still can't really see the difference..... foglights and grilles on this one maybe.... but nothing else...
is the S Line bumper not as tall at the standard??? but then again, the bottom has to line up with the Wings (Fenders) and the sill.....

The triple line grills are SE parts you need sline.

Foglights on sline are round, the SE foglights are rectangle. Size wise the sline/se bumper is the same it's just a slightly different shape.

Having just checked the brochure the bumper that i was calling the standard bump is actually a pre facelift bumper.

Yeah... looks like I need 4F0807105ADGRU - Can't get one for less than £600+VAT. if I find a breaker, they want to part with the entire front end and the cheapest i have found is £1800+VAT.
I'm currently looking on German, Polish and Czech sites.... looks as if I'm routing for pr0n!

Cheers Dan... I'm currently watching it.. the bumper looks good... especially as the guy is pointing out damage which wouldnt be seen after painting.
going to build the rest of the car first and look at the bumper when the mechanicals are done.
Depending on how much money I save, depends on whether I buy a brand new AUDI "*******" bumper or not.
although.... I suppose I could still by the SE bumper and fit rectangular frogs!

Bumper on its way... it needs a little plastic welding on the strip between the wing and the plastic slide bracket.. but that's easy... it looks like the only difference is the fog light cut out.. round for s line and rectangular for SE..

The fog light grill is different the SE one has 3 vanes on it compared to the S line which has one vane, the shape is different and the S line has more profiled eye brows above the grills.

Bumper arrived today. NOW... i begin work...
I decided NOT to remove anything until the majority of the parts arrived.
Got paint (Garnet & Platinum Grey) to order for the bumpers and spoiler / lip - and away we go..
got 4x wheels arriving too.

The intercooler.for the bigger engines will fit, but the air duct which is held.on to the intercooler has different locator pegs.
