O2 PAYG MMI APN data connection setting

Anyone here running pay as you go O2 sim, I'm having trouble with network connection and would be interested to see what APN setting you have used.

Just had a look in my phone's contacts where I store my O2 data SIM number, but no clues. From memory it starts "mbb" for a data SIM and "wap" or "payg" for conventional voice+data SIMs. My data SIM does allow inbound voice and text, so it can be used to divert calls to the car, but I think this is a provisioning accident and not normal. Just do a search for "O2 APN".

Thanks for the reply, I went into the O2 shop today and got a phone/data sim, and after changing the following APN settings it all started to work thankfully. I tried the data only sim again with the setting below and it still did not not connect...

O2 APN Setting for Pay as you go
APN - payandgo.o2.co.uk
user name - payandgo
Password - password

Good. Just found a note on an old smartphone where I had usefully put that APN against a note of my data SIM number. It also says "m-bb.o2.co.uk" but maybe that's a link to the top-up page.

Update for postpay/contract users: mobile.o2.co.uk works on a 4G SIM.
