A3 MY2011 coming home leaving home retrofit

Hi,

got audi a3 manufactured in 2011, but it is model 2012. With LED as DRL + bixenons, without light/rain sensor. Would need help with coming home / leaving home. got everything ready, but when removed cover and trim, was supriced. it seem to be different.Cant see any plug with A-H. There is A, B, C only.Have seen to earth 18 pin into C plug, but in C plug is no pin in 18. Would you know how to do it? Have done coding already, so coming and leaving is already in DIS.

On the facelift cars it's coding only and no wiring needed.

I enabled both features on my MY2009 car with coding in vcds along with the time settings.

Wiring is only needed for prefacelift cars.

I will post coding later if it helps.

I enabled it with coding aswell, i am able change timing in DIS.But since i enabled CH/LH never worked. Tried switch OFF position or DRL position but no success.

You see I enabled the option in the DIS but it didn't work properly as you say.

Changig the time in VCDS seems to have allowed things to work.

I can't remember which module it's in and can't check till later but did you tick the box where its says Coming/Leaving Home 1 = personalisation

The non ticked box gets the info from the light sensor and this is where I think you're going wrong and you need to tick this to tell the car you are setting your preference yourself.

I'll confirm the procedure later on when the Mrs comes back with the car.

will double check, but i am sure i dont have option for personalisation. There is option 0= door open/1=ignition off
Make picture and post it. Are you sure wire is earthed already?

Definitely 100% no wiring is needed unless they changed it which I highly doubt.

I will post all my coding later but I had to tick that box for it to work - I can visualise it and it was definitely needed.

This is what I have here - I got the personalisation round the wrong way.

The coming/leaving works perfect but because there is no light sensor it does it in daytime but I don't mind that.

If Nigel (NHN) sees this he may be able to further on my replies.

i see yours is different. what you think about mine?
i have time setting in adaptation but channel 16 and 17. In DIS can change time in coming home, Leaving home ON or OFF only

also see you have ticked Cold Lamp Diagnostic, what is it? mine is not ticked

Chris has the older CE board, so it will be different to yours, just look for the timer in the adaptation channels & edit this, then it should function, if all coding elsewhere is ok.

time can be set on DIS for comming home only, for leaving home there is ON/OFF only. Went to adaptation and in channels is possible change time for both, tried but no succsess. An idea what i got is to tick light sensor/rain sensor instaled in VCDS, and see if help or not. What you think?

If you tick for the sensor, you'll get dis warnings saying there's an error, just play with the ch/lh settings & see what works for you.

It's a 2011 with led/xenon lights, no light sensor and no rain sensor. Drl active

As suggested to the other member, if you cant get it to work, then the oem system would be the best route for guaranteed full & proper functionality.
