Google it and see more!

Have a read at this. (http://www.octane.ie/news/article.php?id=587) Not putting you off airbags but obviously there arent any felt cars around Bangor!

Well, each their own and all that Chris but I think the wee Golf and the A4 in the artical look well :)
In your opion, what stage of lowering a car turns it from looking well to "felt" look lol

Yeah i wasnt trying to put you off the idea of airbags but just saying lol. I don't have anything against lowering the suspension but I think when the car is bouncing when driving is taking it far lol.

Some cars look great lowered but it can be took too far lol. The definition of felt is that grey golf I posted. :D

On the UK-MKIV forum they rave about airbag suspension custom made by someone called MERVIN i think. Have a search through the forum for air suspension and you'll soon find the company name.

Estimate for around £2000 for a decent system. £3k+ for something with big compressors etc...

One of my customers converted his Golf 2 to fart bags and had so many nightmares with it he took it off. Even factory systems are a joke, look at the 4B C5 Allroad.

I think your right Crasher, every car thats made with them give wild trouble and they are the price of a car. Im just going to go for coil overs. I got a cheap ebay set for my Cordoba Vario a few years back and although I have had no problems with them, I would like a good set the B7, have you had any experiance with any certain makes ?

For many years I was the UK importer for Weitec and even though the present owner of Weitec (KW suspension) did the dirty on me I still quite like the product but for high end coilovers I sell Vogtland.

There is alot of crap been said here from people who obviously have never had airride I just sold my jetta that had a rayvern system. Air-ride is very practical you can set it at what ever height u want speed bumps are no problem and if you are running wide wheels you don't have to worry about scrubbage either. Kits start at around £1500 for a 2-way system from rayvern hydraulics but I would advise a bagyard setup instead they seem to be better quality and if budget allows go for a 4-way system you won't regret it :D
